Westende Fruitteelt joined Staay Food Group in 2024. This cultivation company in Fijnaart (province of Noord Brabant) has grown into one of the largest pear growers in the Netherlands over the past decades, with 135 ha in production. Westende Fruitteelt is always looking for new and better varieties. The sorting department with a cooling capacity of 11.5 million kg of fruit has a fully automatic sorting machine with biological water treatment and internal cameras. Westende has thus created all the preconditions for a great supply of perfect Dutch pears.
